ABOUT KESHIV SHARMA
Currently a Founding Senior Account Executive with AFC Toronto. My focus in role is creating and leading corporate and premium relationships for Toronto’s professional women soccer club in the Northern Super League and around the world. Most recently a Account Executive within Shopify for three years, I was responsible for the full B2B SAAS sales cycle process within an assigned book of business for all Shopify financial products and Shopify partner applications to help small to medium sized businesses scale to enterprise levels in revenue. My past experience as Business Development Manager and Account Manager within Delvinia (now SAGO) for three and half years involved me pushing the envelope of research automation one strategy and campaign development process at a time. I applied the same energy in learning more everyday to further develop skills in business development, account management and client relationships/facing that I continue to use throughout my career. In my four year undergrad at the University of Toronto Mississauga, I obtained a Honors Bachelor of Arts (HBA) in Digital Enterprise Management (DEM) with a dual-degree in Digital Media Skills from Sheridan College between 20••••18. I always wanted to enter a career in the world of business/consumer marketing, advertising, search engine analytics, graphic design, or consulting. I jumped at the opportunity to get my start when a Account Representative role opened up at Delvinia to dive in to the world of capturing quantitative and qualitative driven insights to start my sales career post-graduation.Outside of the classroom during undergrad, I was the Vice President External (Off-Campus) for the ICCIT Student Council, making me responsible for creating strong business relationships with companies outside of the university campus for sponsorships. In industry, I have experience as a Product Marketing Intern at communications company, Audability, where I was responsible for creating an email nurturing campaign to generate new sales leads. In my spare time, I play a wide variety of sports such as soccer, basketball, and tennis and try to remain active whilst on campus within UTM’s organized intermural leagues. All throughout school, I worked in part-time positions to actively fund for my own education. In doing so I totalled over four years of retail experience in various product CPG spaces working at PUMA, The Sony Store, Bentley Luggage Outlet, Eddie Bauer, and ECCO Shoes in Part Time Sales Associate positions.
