I’m excited to contribute to the artistic vibrancy of Tarragon, and continue to bring artists together in organic, joyful, and playful ways as the 2025 Urjo Kareda Resident. During this residency, I will be diving deep into research for current projects in development grappling with big themes (the housing crisis, queerness + christianity, and global migration), as well as expanding and deepening my technical and theoretical theatre knowledge, including tackling that long-list of books that mentors have recommended I dig into for years. I’ll be exploring and testing new working methods through a series of practice sessions, and dedicating studio time to workshop new plays in development. I’m also eager to join Tarragon’s welcoming community during my residency. Please come up and ask me what I’m up to, and share with me your questions, current projects, and hopes for the future.
