Roles and responsibility :• Serve as technical owner for multiple modules in a large-scale, multi-tenant platform serving citizens and government employees across India• Design and implement scalable Spring Boot microservices handling billing, payments, user management, PDF generation, and analytics for high-volume transactions• Lead system design (HLD/LLD) for new modules and conduct architecture reviews for dependent services• Mentor and guide team of 12+ developers, conducting peer code reviews, sprint planning, and production release management• Improve platform scalability using Kafka-based asynchronous workflows, database indexing strategies, and Redis caching mechanisms• Implement secure communication protocols, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and tenant-aware access controls• Debug and resolve peak-time performance issues post AWS migration by identifying PostgreSQL bottlenecks and query optimization opportunities• Implement connection pooling and tune database parameters (shared_buffers, work_mem, effective_cache_size) to restore system stability and improve performance by 40%• Deploy and manage infrastructure on AWS EKS with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for automated scaling and high availability• Design GIS-based microservices using PostGIS, GeoServer, and QGIS to enable spatial visualization for Property Tax, Trade License, Faecal Sludge Management (FSM), and NOC modules
