ABOUT KERSTEN THIELE
I spent nearly two decades as a professional cyclist — competing at the Olympic Games in Rio (5th place for Germany), winning a World Cup, and becoming multiple-time German champion. This time shaped me deeply: discipline, resilience, teamwork, and the ability to perform under pressure became part of who I am.After ending my sports career, I shifted my focus to innovation, entrepreneurship, and transformation. I studied Design Thinking at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute, completed a Master’s in Digital Entrepreneurship, and worked as an Innovation Consultant — where I facilitated workshops, developed agile coaches, and introduced organizations to frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, and Design Thinking. My focus has always been to empower people, foster creativity, and design transformation processes that truly work.I also gained experience in the financial sector, supporting major transformation projects in payments and currently working in accounting with a strong focus on data quality and process design. Alongside this, I continue to coach athletes in cycling, connecting my sports background with my passion for personal growth and development.Entrepreneurship has always driven me: I co-founded an electronic music festival and collective, taking on every aspect of event management — from vision and strategy to execution. What started as an idea among three friends has grown into a vibrant community, reflecting my belief in the power of collaboration, courage, and starting from scratch.To sum up my path: I thrive where new ideas meet bold execution. I bring the mindset of an Olympic athlete, the toolkit of an innovation consultant, and the energy of an entrepreneur. My objective is to create environments where people and organizations can transform, grow, and realize their potential.Or, to say it more personally: You may not be the center of the world, but your body, mind, and soul should be the center of your own.
