Today, I\'m the sports editor at the San Francisco Standard, where we\'re focused on helping Bay Area sports fans understand their favorite teams, athletes, and coaches on a deeper level. My work in San Francisco blends together with my prior work, which has been centered in thinking about new avenues for reaching audiences as the media landscape changes. From creating new content distribution strategies at The Athletic, to leading editorial efforts at the Bay Area News Group, and hosting live radio shows in a Top 10 market, I’ve focused on transforming how departments approach audience engagement, content distribution, and collaboration across newsroom departments.At The Athletic, my team built and developed our New York Times content strategy, ensuring that our work not only reached but resonated with a broad, diverse audience. My focus on optimizing editorial workflows, identifying top stories, and developing new distribution strategies turned New York Times platform into the primary source of growth for The Athletic\'s content.In my tenure at the Bay Area News Group, I brought fresh perspectives to sports coverage, leading teams of reporters to consistently exceed goals for audience engagement, subscriptions, and content performance.Throughout my career, I’ve built strong relationships, fostered collaboration, and leveraged my creative problem-solving abilities to help reporters and newsroom departments stay ahead of the curve.
