Working within the Major Equipment Procurement (MEP) function of MBDA. Working collaboratively with suppliers around the world. where no two days are the same using a broad skillset in a wide range of scenarios on a global scale. Pro-actively managing critical supplier subcontracts/obligations, developing and maintaining long term, open, collaborative and commercially robust business relationships with suppliers to ensure the on time, on cost, on quality delivery of bespoke high value sub-systems and services. Consisting of-Managing subcontracts (including drafting, amending, negotiating and managing terms and conditions), holding the supplier to account for their performance and resolve any issues, providing commercial guidance to internal stakeholders and generating supplier strategies which deliver value for money. Travelling to our suppliers in the UK, Europe and internationally. Reporting and co-operation with internal and external stakeholders to influence and manage multiple relationships. Analysing situations and adepting at understanding and presenting different possibilities, balancing risk.
