ABOUT KERRY WATTS

I started my career in the Construction Industry as an apprentice Carpenter after honing my skills over the years I progressed to Site Foreman. This gave me a range of skills and experience which I have carried with me throughout my career. My path has led me to the Rail Sector and I have not looked back. My loyalty and dedication to the Rail Industry is proven in the hard work I have put in, both in my work and personal development.I am a highly experienced P-Way Resourcing Manager with a compliance and safety focus. I joined Vital in April 2021 with a goal to build upon a growing Rail team and streamline the processes to gain maximum efficiency.Within my time at Randstad I had a number of successes, such as many fruitful recruitment drives which built upon the skill sets of the candidates we provided. I was also a key driver in successful implementation of a new recruitment and fatigue software to improve fatigue management, candidate engagement, vacancy tracking and KPI’s.I have worked with a variety of clients such as Babcock, Colas, Amey, XYZ Rail and CRSA on projects of all sizes and diverse scopes of work. Supplying a high volume of skilled candidates (safety critical, P’Way gangs and civils). Notable projects I have worked with are the GWEP project (Great Western Electrification Project), ABC Walsall to Rugeley Electrification project and various Core Plain Line works nationwide.
