I enjoy demystifying policies for public audiences and specialize in content management and distribution. With over a decade of experience in communications from event marketing to traditional to digital, I recognize the importance of prioritizing channels and budgets to meet goals and the metrics related to paid, earned, shared and owned media, which provides the foundation I need to build a guiding editorial strategy that is malleable to your immediate needs.I\'m currently consulting at UNICEF USA but am interested in a 30-hour-a-week or full-time position to grow your business or impact. I formerly managed USAID’s environment communications on social media, developing videos and multimedia to share stories from the field. Before that, I was a Digital Strategist and Social Media Project Manager at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). There, I developed and implemented digital communications plans that included writing and creating social media–organic and paid–connecting with influencers, driving email marketing campaigns and launching websites and was honored to win a Silver Award from the International Association for the Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC).Additional positions include: pushing forward the legislative goals of companies and trade associations through communications as a Senior Communications Associate at a DC-based Public Affairs Agency, a Public Diplomacy Fellow at the University of Southern California Center on Public Diplomacy and an Event Producer at Jack Morton Worldwide. I hold a Master of Public Diplomacy from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from Emerson College.
