About Kerry Saunders
I’m a highly experienced Commercial Real Estate and Economic Development Executive with deep ties and strong relationships across both industries. After 30+ years in the industry, I decided to take a step back and work part time so I could spend more time with my family. A few months later in 2021, Triangle Commercial Real Estate Women (TCREW). a 260+ member organization where I am a charter member, honored me by asking me to become their Executive Director. As the former Executive Vice-President & COO with NAI Carolantic Realty, a top commercial brokerage firm in the Southeast, my focus was to lead business development and strategic initiatives. In January 2020, our firm merged with Tri Properties and I became the Director of Business Development and Community Relations for NAI Tri Properties. During my 30+ year tenure with NAI Carolantic, I spearheaded the planning and execution of the annual Triangle Commercial Real Estate Conference, which in 2020 brought together over 1,600 of the Triangle area’s business, government and community leaders to consider the health and direction of the local economy.I’ve watched the Triangle region grow from a sleepy town into a burgeoning technology Mecca, and I’m proud to have been an advocate for a large team of talented brokers, property managers, as well as construction and development professionals with a wide-range of specialties across the CRE spectrum.Giving back to my community is important to me. I formerly served on the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and am still on the North State Bank Advisory Board. I also served as the Chair of the Raleigh Chamber of Commerce’s 6th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference with over attendees, the largest Chamber event of that year. I also served for two years on the NAI Global Leadership Board and had the opportunity to work with some truly talented commercial real estate professionals from all over the world.I now enjoy utilizing my operations, marketing, and business development expertise to help TCREW reach their goal of supporting the advancement of women in commercial real estate.
