An employee communications expert with a passion for people. A track record in shaping and delivering compelling communication narratives and large-scale programmes which create impact, help change behaviours, and support corporate values and priorities.Having worked across a range of topics in an industry leading communications team, I’m highly experienced at managing projects across a diverse range of business areas in a global FTSE 100 organisation. From crisis communications to smart working, brand, sustainability, GDPR, and more recently, business partnering. I live in beautiful York and spend my time outside of work exercising, running, enjoying lovely food, and being with friends and family.Career highlights and achievements:Instrumental in the creation and delivery of our first global awards ceremony. Our ‘Values in Action Awards’ were created to celebrate our people who live our values and purpose. Managing crisis communications across the organisation throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, whilst supporting the business on how to tackle employee engagement, leader communications, employee wellbeing and hybrid working.Instrumental in engaging our leaders through ‘Smart Working’. Including creating and hosting leader drop-in sessions and developing engaging material whilst collaborating closely with our people function.Managing the delivery of the re-launch of our leader communication channel. Working with an agency to re-brand the channel, using measurement and assessing impact to constantly evolve our approach. The channel was then rolled out globally. Strategic and tactical delivery of ‘big-ticket’ items such as Team Strategy conversations and Financial Results – working closely with global and UK markets.
