ABOUT KERRY JACKSON
I am a focused individual who believes fully in creating a positive learning or working environment. I came to Saudi in September 2014, and I have been part of the SMT at various International Technical Colleges. As part of my role, I have managed a number of exams, been integral in the Institutional Reviews, KPMG audits and other inspections. I have created curriculums, planned development for departments and specialisms, conducted CPD for whole school. My current role of School Principal has enabled me to embrace a more holistic approach to learning including working with high profile stakeholders. As a focused and supportive manager, I consider that by being firm but fair, applying pragmatic logic as well as adhering to college procedures enables the college to develop and thrive. I have formed excellent working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders that will serve to benefit the trainees in the long term. Prior to Saudi, my role was as a curriculum manager for Business and Computing at Cornwall College Saltash. Day to day management of current and new courses within all areas of Business and Computing covering from level 2 to Level 5 Foundation Degress, ensuring learners achieve to their full potential including developing their skills and understanding of employability.
