I lead JuneShine/Willie’s Remedy+ efforts to shape and influence hemp and cannabinoid policy across the country. I serve as the company\'s primary point of contact on legislative and regulatory matters at the state and federal levels, advocating for a fair and science-based regulatory framework that supports innovation, consumer safety, and business growth.Key Responsibilities- Oversee all government affairs strategy nationwide, managing a network of state and federal lobbyists to advance the company’s legislative priorities- Monitor, analyze, and report on hemp and cannabinoid policy developments across all 50 states, providing real-time strategic insights to internal stakeholders- Engage with policymakers, regulatory agencies, and trade associations to represent the company’s interests in legislative and rulemaking processes- Draft position statements, policy briefs, and testimony to support advocacy efforts and communicate Bayou City Hemp’s positions- Collaborate with external partners and coalition members to build industry consensus on key policy issues- Provide regular reports and briefings to the executive team and other departments to ensure alignment between business operations and the evolving regulatory environment.I\'m a first generation college student & graduate of Indiana State where I earned my degree in Business Administration. I consider myself a lifelong salesman, having worked in a wide variety of B2C & B2B sales jobs.I\'m married to the absolute love of my life. We call Lexington Kentucky home, with our son Henry, dog Winston, and two cats Bandit and Fitz.
