About Kerry B.
Kerry Beavers is a marketing junior at Azusa Pacific University, who is driven by creativity and passion. Kerry started his career early at 15, and has been working hard ever since. At 16, he got a job at a local grocery store, where he worked as a cashier. He was quickly promoted to a cash office associate. As a cash office associate, Kerry handled the bookkeeping, and sales paperwork for the store. In high school, Kerry was involved in the leadership academy, and he was a marketing intern for the Centerville Education Foundation. As a marketing intern, Kerry worked to blend traditional and digital marketing in a way that was beneficial for the organization. Kerry earned numerous awards in high school, including scholar athlete awards. When the college search began, he applied to over 20 colleges and got into every single one. He also received admission into Miami Summer Scholars the summer before his senior year, which was a program dedicated to teaching students about how to have a successful career in business. Outside of work and school, Kerry likes to volunteer. He has volunteered at important organizations like the Dayton Foodbank, and Matthew 25 Ministries. Kerry started creating marketing campaigns in his junior year of high school, where he created a ten-page marketing campaign for an internationally recognized business competition, DECA. Since then he has been a part of many marketing campaigns like Happy Bowl, a marketing campaign for breakfast food that earned his group first place. Kerry is a hard worker but also values kindness and honesty, two things he always brings into the workplace.
