ABOUT KERRY ANN GRANT

Operations/Project Management/Quality/HSE professional at SLB Multiskilled and empathic Leader with 15+ Years’ experience in the Oil and Gas Industry from Operators to Service Companies, Manufacturing and Distribution. Demonstrated history of results driven improvements in a variety of cross functional roles throughout my career. As a Leader I have often dealt with cross-organisational change in complex environments both in previous employment and with Cameron / Schlumberger. Having gone through 2 previous company acquisitions I am often asked how to make up for inadequate support following the implementation of a change - I believe that there are no short cuts. Senior Management often set the strategic direction for a change but then remain remote from the actual change implementation (sometimes called \"distance transformation\")- I believe the role of a good leader is to be the motivated person on the ground implementing the actual change and motivating others. Doing the right thing, like good leadership or proper planning and estimating, or getting engagement from others is what is important to succeed. 2020 was one of the most challenging times in my career and personal life with Covid-19, working from home with a young toddler and striking the work life balance however I get great satisfaction from the days that go well, and I feel in control. I hope that I can inspire other women leaders to reach for what they want. I am highly skilled in QHSE Management Systems, Operations, Manufacturing, Company Mergers, Business System Implementations, and Continuous Improvement. Natural leader, adept problem solver with excellent people management and communication skills.
