About Kerrie Chabot

As a teacher and leadership advisor at Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) for 27 years, I have been dedicated to providing quality education and guidance to students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. I won the Teacher of the Year Award in 2022, thanks to the support of my colleagues and the recognition of my students\' achievements. I pay it forward by presenting instructional strategies to colleagues in Alameda County.I have multiple certifications: AP French, CLAD, GLAD, GATE, TOESL, and AVID. I serve as the Electives Department Chair on the Instructional Leadership Team, a WLCC (World Language Curriculum Council) member, the Tobacco Use Prevention Coordinator (TUPE), the WEB Advisor, the ASB Advisor, and was invited to be the National Blue Ribbon School Teacher Representative in Washington, D.C. I am a board member for Dubliners for Change, a volunteer group that advocates for ethical and constituent-driven governance in Dublin, CA. I am passionate about California and children and strive to foster independent thinking and civic engagement. I enjoy kayaking, dancing, long hikes, and listening to local musicians.
