ABOUT KERRI BROCK

I LOVE working with people to bring new ideas to life and navigate the chaos that emerges when designing individual, social or organizational change. These new ideas are often initiated when one idea that collides with another. I am drawn to these idea collisions, because, it is at the intersection where the igniting of WHAT could be possible & the tension for HOW it could be made real arises. The energy generated from sifting through the cognitive, emotional and subconscious \"mess\" of the collision is where I use my skills of Social Marketing & Facilitation. We live in a complex world. It gets messy. I say, play in the mess. That is where the gold of an idea lives. I like the mud and the process of exploration and finding the resistance. This is the Change Manager, Systems and Design Thinker in me. Whether for an organization, a community or individual I use curiosity, adaptability, social intelligence, creativity and perspective to build psychological capital for individuals and teams. This allows them to navigate the chaos, stress and uncertainty and turn it into order and flow. This comes from the Appreciative Inquiry and Positive Psychology practitioner in me. I have exposure to a variety of industries, Telecommunications & Information Technology, Digital Media, Loyalty Marketing to Social Enterprise and Not for Profit. Always “planting seeds of possibility” AND “wrangling chaos” from the ideas and emotions that emerge in moments of transformation. I\'ve done some very cool and progressive work in my 30 years. I want to do more cool things over the next 25. There is lots to do. That\'s where my project and change management skills come in. Here\'s a \"snippet\" of the projects I want to work on that translate technology into capability- Hospitals or Education to upgrade their systems and tools for better patient and user experience to improve the overall effectiveness in the operations of these vital institutions- Workplaces in Financial Services or Technology to build out new systems that create effective use of hybrid capabilities for teams and support the digital automation for employees and customers using AR/VR technologies- Workplaces and HR to create programs that enable wellbeing, through Coaching, effective work design, learning & development programs and career management skills using AR/VR technologies- Property Managers or Grocers to repurpose space to grow indoor gardens and vertical farms or anything agri-tech- Build a new technology, energy infrastructure or water system for a municipal or provincial agency.
