I am currently the Research Director at FPL Advisory Group where I coordinate the firm’s global research activities. I have more than 20 years of executive search industry experience and have contributed to the successful completion of numerous executive level searches in multiple functions within the real estate and financial services industries. I direct various business development and search-related projects including search strategy development, target list development, company, industry and competitor research, and name generation and verification.

Lead research and knowledge management efforts on executive level searches firm-wide, across offices in Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Boston, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Built the research team responsible for generating global research on executive-level searches in all sectors of the real estate industry. Manage research efforts on assignments in acquisitions, corporate real estate, construction, development, finance, lending, property management, asset/portfolio management, operations, opportunistic investing, technology, corporate services and homebuilding. Clients include many of the world’s largest investment managers, opportunity funds, banks, REITs and private equity firms. Design and oversee a comprehensive knowledge management platform, including maps of the industry, curated both by sector and by function. Partner with consultants to implement search efforts, including creation of target lists of client competitors and their executives, identification of prospective candidates via web resources such as LinkedIn, gathering of intelligence from industry sources such as Factiva, and internal database mining. Develop materials for potential new business presentations and have direct oversight of the firm’s extensive database. Maintain library of published resources, both in print and online.
