Kerri Ranney is the VP of Educational Practice for Huckabee. Kerri has over 15 years experience serving public K-12 clients and has managed large construction projects, from bond planning and project development through construction administration.Kerri is passionate about the role facilities play in the learning experience and the holistic transformation necessary for the built environment to reach its full potential. She leads the Planning Team which is responsible for understanding and capturing the educational vision and desired culture of our clients in order to deliver responsive solutions. She is also responsible for Huckabee\'s special projects including our partnership with Region 12 and the Baylor Research and Innovation Collaborative (BRIC).She currently serves as the Southern Region Representative to the International Board of The Association for Learning Environments (A4LE), an international professional association whose mission is to improve the places where children learn. She is also a co-chair for the international-level Knowledge Center Steering Committee which is responsible for the development and curation of all content for A4LE. She has served in many leadership capacities at the chapter, regional and international levels and continues to support A4LE in many ways.In addition to being a registered architect, Kerri is licensed to practice law in Texas and is contributes to risk management efforts within the firm. She also provides internal legal advice, including contract review and negotiation, code interpretation, licensing regulations and legislative updates. Kerri is working with the Global Collaborative Law Council to pass legislation in Texas for an alternative dispute resolution method that could benefit public school districts by saving them time and money as well as preserving important relationships while handling legal disputes.
