I am Keri Hollingsworth, CEO and Founder of Work of Heart Educational Services, LLC. I specialize in helping elementary and middle school leaders ignite student engagement and increase ELA & Math mastery in grades 3-8 by designing innovative, drama-infused learning experiences.Work of Heart Educational Services began as a K-5 tutoring company with an 80% success rate on state testing. I\'ve always believed that creating meaningful connections between students and academic content is key to improving both engagement and achievement. In today’s educational landscape, student engagement and motivation has declined. Without engaging instruction, it’s difficult to cultivate the deep understanding required for mastery, especially with real-world application based tasks. That’s where my unique approach comes in.With over 20 years of experience as an educator, actress, and teaching artist, I’ve honed a distinctive approach that uses drama-based techniques to make abstract concepts come alive in the classroom. I bring a unique perspective to education, blending performance, storytelling, role-play, and improvisation to create interactive learning experiences. This approach helps students engage deeply with academic content, develop critical thinking skills, and build confidence as they apply their learning to real-world scenarios.By infusing drama into lessons, I support educators in developing strategies that not only improve student participation but also help students see the relevance of their learning to their lives.
