Edward Kerfin, a resident of Lockport IL, has a goal – to help people who cannot help themselves. He is the Host of 1340 WJOL Friends Over 50 Fridays from 10:00am-1:00pm on Fridays. A Radio Show dedicated to entertaining and educating Seniors on Health, Finance and Lifestyle issues. • His team at Home Helpers won Business of the Year in 2011 • He won a State-wide award from Mothers Against Drunk Drivers for their community service. • He founded the Autobahn Cruise, raising money for charities. He has a beautiful daughter, Caitie, who graduated from Mizzou. He is a former Fireman and EMT who recently became a member of the Masons and Scottish Right. He is very involved with local communities through involvement with Rotary, Kiwanis, and several Chamber of Commerce. He served on the Board of Directors for the Lockport Chamber of Commerce and Child Resource and Referral as well as the Advisory Board for Leeza’s Place at Provena St. Joe. He is an Ambassador for the Homer Chamber and active member of the Community Services Council Of Joliet. He co-founded a Charitable organization, Angel For Hospice, that grants last wishes for terminally ill adults. He has truly dedicated his life and businesses to serving other people.
