Pioneered the complete software development lifecycle for Ground Truth XR, an innovative platform leveraging virtual reality for advanced forensic investigation. I was responsible for all aspects of backend and client-side application development, building the system from the ground up with a strong emphasis on security, data integrity and scalability- Built the primary VR application in Unity, designing a secure client-side architecture to manage authenticated user sessions, protect downloaded digital assets against unauthorized access, and safely transmit analytics- Developed and launched a secure backend service with Node.js, engineering a RESTful API following security best practices and encrypting sensitive data at rest in the PostgreSQL database- Architected and implemented a robust authentication system using industry-standard protocols, incorporating Single Sign-On (SSO) and following secure password protocols to ensure protected user access- Integrated a PCI-compliant payment gateway using Stripe, leveraging tokenization to process transactions securely and implementing both subscription and one-time purchase models without handling raw payment data.
