ABOUT KERAV AGARWAL

I am an Incoming Freshman at Cornell University\'s Brooks School of Public Policy with broad interests in politics, national security, economics, and global affairs, especially how policy decisions shape people’s lives and institutions over time.I am the founder of 2Republics, a student-led platform focused on U.S.–India relations. Through interviews with policymakers, scholars, and industry experts, I analyze how trade, defense, technology, and immigration policy shape long-term strategic partnerships, translating complex issues into accessible public dialogue for students.I also serve as Chair of the Kansas City Youth Commission, representing more than young people citywide. In this role, I work directly with city departments and elected officials to move youth input into policy, leading initiatives on education access, mental health, crime prevention, and civic trust.Across these roles, I have learned the importance of listening carefully, grounding ideas in evidence, and building durable structures that allow others to participate meaningfully and sustain change.
