ABOUT KEQI CHEN

Hi, I\'m Keqi — a frontend developer with a background in philosophy and a deep appreciation for building meaningful, user-focused software. After earning my PhD in Philosophy, I realised that while I loved thinking through abstract ideas, I wanted to apply that same analytical rigor to solving real-world problems. That insight led me to software development — a field where logic, creativity, and impact intersect. At Acre, a fintech company streamlining the mortgage process, I’ve spent the past two years working on core features of our CRM platform and contributing to the frontend architecture. I care deeply about code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization — from refining rendering logic to improving load times and accessibility across complex user flows.Beyond fintech, I’m currently developing a mobile med-tech app using React Native, designed to help users track and manage their blood pressure. We\'re preparing to pilot the app in collaboration with the NHS, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy, usability, and meeting healthcare compliance standards.Outside of work, I enjoy exploring game development with Unreal Engine 5, where I experiment with interactive systems, blueprints, and C++ as a creative outlet.If you\'re curious about my journey, want to connect over tech and philosophy, or have an exciting project to discuss — feel free to reach out!
