Hi, I’m Kenzie, a producer, director and photographer in Portland, Oregon with a passion for storytelling and social impact work. I specialize in bringing ideas to life, from concept to completion. My experience spans across television, documentary film, commercials and branded content. I recently directed Firebreak, a feature length documentary about formerly incarcerated wildland firefighters.I have experience leading teams on large-scale productions and nimble crews; working closely with clients and stakeholders to understand their vision; providing visual direction; and directing and producing projects in the field. I have worked on projects for clients such as TIME, Washington Post Creative Group, Lowe’s, The Magnolia Network and Nike.I studied photojournalism at the University of Missouri and brought visual storytelling to my roles at the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International, a nonprofit dedicated to the conservation of mountain gorillas, and Westword, an alt-weekly newspaper in Denver.
