Responsible for directing the office’s constituent relations. Oversee constituent management system, including intake, tracking, follow-up, and resolution of constituent issues Serve as main caseworker in the office, assisting constituents with addressing a range of concerns including, but not limited to: federal agencies such as IRS, Health and Human Services, and Housing Authority Act as liaison to state departments, agencies, and private companies to resolve constituent issues, answer questions, and address concerns Develop and manage relationships with government agencies, elected officials’ offices, and community-based organizations to help resolve constituent cases Manage security issues Manage potential interns/students conducting casework Identify emerging community issues and trending problems which may require district-wide events, office escalation, and/or policy action Oversee the operation of the District Office, including daily office opening, ordering supplies, tracking reimbursements/expenses, managing mail, phone, and voicemail systems, and identifying and overseeing production of resources for constituents. Work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends staffing and organizing Community events

ABOUT KENYONA SUNNY MATTHEWS
Kenyona “Sunny” Matthews is a motivational speaker focusing on issues of diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism. She is a University of Akron School of Law graduate who focused civil liberties. She earned her bachelors from Guilford College majoring in Political Science, Philosophy, and African American Studies. She was an active college student helping to start an Anti-Racism team at Guilford College, responsible for organizing city-wide diversity/inclusion events, and developed coursework focusing on race and racism. After college, Ms. Matthews served as an AmeriCorps Vista North Carolina Campus Compact Multicultural Service Coordinator. Her focus was facilitating, organizing, and training students to work in multicultural communities. In 2016, Ms. Matthews co-founded Dimensions of Isms with Ginger Bakos. What started out as a three-part workshop on diversity issues (racism, classism, sexism) became a grassroots organization. The vision for Dimensions of Isms is to bring awareness and progression to societal issues through training in corporate environments, church workshops, speaking engagements, and other civil and social organizations. Ms. Matthews continues to speak with various organizations throughout the United States including: Tedx Series, Indivisible, Big Love, K thru 12 schools, colleges, non profits, and Women’s March on Washington.
