As a Payroll Ops Manager, I oversee the payroll processing for assigned clients, manage the relationship between Alight and the clients, troubleshoot any issues/errors that may occur, revise the process and train the individuals responsible for completing those steps. Partner with the tax, garnishment, benefits and all other internal partners to ensure everything that’s associated with payroll is accurate, streamline processes and make sure we are up to date on new techniques, processes and system enhancements. Assist with implementing, acquisitions and year end processes. Assist team leads with developing and coaching team members to become the best payroll professionals, utilizing all available educational resources and tools that are at their disposal. Also using all available information, resources and tools to continue growing my payroll career and staying up to date on laws, rules, regulations, limits, guidelines, etc that pertains to payroll.
