Provides strategic analysis, recommendation and implementation for the development and exploitation of Network’s film and television properties across all media platforms focusing on production financing alternatives and maximization of future revenue growth. As Network’s senior business affairs executive, oversees the negotiation, structuring and contractual arrangements for all of the company’s development, financing, production, licensing and distribution activities. Strategizes, negotiates and authors all of the company’s contractual arrangements for Network’s sales to Canadian, US and international broadcaster and distribution partners, as well as the company’s licensing, financing, security, sponsorship, underlying rights, music, cast and crew agreements. Ensures compliance with the guidelines and regulations of the numerous production subsidies and incentives, including those of the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission and the Canadian Audio-Visual Certification Office for the purpose of maximizing the company’s film and television production financing. Oversees the preparation of the company’s financial reporting requirements. Produced and executive produced selected film and television properties from rights acquisition, through to creative development, financing, production, post production, compliance and exploitation.
