When I was working in corporate America, I was uninformed about finances. Realizing that even with a college degree, I had never had a single class on how to prepare for retirement. It came to my attention that most of my co-workers were in the same boat. Financial education changes lives for generations.This is my 20th year of being licensed and focusing on solving this problem. However, the problem is larger than ever. Everyone needs to know how money works, but there is a huge lack of education. We need help with this growing challenge. Here are just some of the challenges that require education and solutions- Most companies have abandoned defined benefit plans for defined contribution plans- People are living longer than ever before (which means retirement funds must last longer)- Most retirement savings will be taxed during retirement- Lack of guaranteed income in retirement- Lack of long-term care coverage- INFLATIONI’m looking for others that would be interested in working with me to solve this problem.
