ABOUT KENTO UEMATSU

Growing up in a household that frequently hosted international students, I was immersed early in the richness of global perspectives and inspired by opportunities beyond my island nation. Despite facing economic challenges that initially seemed insurmountable, I remained determined. Graduating at the top of my class from an industrial high school, I began my career as a project manager at a leading construction company in Japan. In this role, I successfully managed high-rise residential projects, securing the financial resources to pursue my dream of higher education. Driven by a passion for technology and a deep admiration for the United States\' leadership in innovation, I earned a degree in Computer Science, completing the program in three years. During my studies, I further honed my skills as a software engineer at a startup, gaining valuable experience in agile development and user-centric design. What truly motivates me, however, is not just the technical \"how\" of creating solutions but the strategic \"what\" and \"why.\" I thrive on understanding user challenges and crafting solutions that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. This passion has naturally evolved into my current role as a product manager, where I bridge cutting-edge technology with user-first innovation to create impactful experiences.
