About Kentara John
Non-profit organizational work has been my home for the last twelve years and employed with some of the top performing non-profit organizations in New York City.Servicing underserved populations including individuals with disabilities, elder services, Hurricane Sandy survivors, young adult learners (17- 24 years old), adult learners (18+) and unemployed and underemployed New York City residents. I am motivated about my desires to work in sectors and industries that I really care about and to support the vision and mission of some incredible organizations focused on improving the lives of others. I am a great relationship-builder, and problem solver. I love working both in the direct service capacity and in administration. It takes a holistic approach in this field to reach the communities that need to be served. My skill set is diverse, ranging from email and social marketing, talent management. a facilitator and adult educator. I am beyond comfortable working alongside youth and older adult portfolios.
