About Kent Werner

I have over 30 years of professional experience in the fields of architecture and interior design. My work has ranged from large and small scale renovation projects to new institutional and commercial buildings and custom homes. This has allowed me to work on numerous projects including commercial office building design, custom homes, new construction, prototype buildings, institutional facility design, renovation and adaptive re-use projects. My residential experience varies from small renovation and alteration projects to the design and construction of some of the largest private homes in New Jersey. I have been a part of all project phases including survey and investigation, programming and space planning, design, preparation of contract documents and specifications and construction administration.Completed projects include a new Senior Living Facility in Lehigh Valley PA, a SF 126 Unit Assisted Living addition to an existing Skilled Nursing Facility in Quakertown, PA - A New SF Independent/Assisted Living Facility in Hamilton Township, NJ and numerous residential projects. Other project experience includes the Adaptive Re-use of the Historic Vine Street School in Bridgeton, NJ for the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office, a SF Operations Center and a SF Regional Headquarters for NJDOT, The new Ronald McDonald House at St. Christopher\'s Hospital in Philadelphia, a new Oncology Center in Hammonton, NJ, The SF Center for Children and Families in Lumberton Township, NJ, Adaptive Re-use of an industrial building as offices for the Diocese of Camden Vicariate for Human Services, Church and Rectory Renovations to Saint Vincent Pallotti Parish, Renovations of the New Jersey State Museum Natural History Hall and Planetarium and several residential and historic preservation projects.Specialties: Design of Gut-Renovation Projects (Adaptive re-use), Design of New Construction, Construction Administration, Space Planning, FF & E (Furniture, Finishes & Equipment) coordination and Building Investigation and Analysis
