I have also raised money for projects of my own initiation including a global review of privately protected and a continued commitment to exploring the intersection between conservation and synthetic biology. Most recently I organized a session on biodiversity at the seventh global meeting of Synthetic Biologists (SB 7.0) in Singapore, June 2017.Finally I give numerous talks throughout the year and continue to publish in peer-reviewed science journals.
