About Kent Gibbons
I have been a writer and editor at newspapers, daily and weekly (and now a trade newspaper), my entire career of 30 plus years. My goal is to remain in an executive editing position at a news organization: writing, editing and supervising reporters and overseeing near-term and long-term content production. I love all aspects of journalism and magazine and Web production. Having spent the bulk of my career in cable television and telecommunications reporting, I would prefer to remain in that industry but I have many other interests, including sports, theater and music, and love all forms of community building and journalism.
