Key engineer for cross-org “AB Planned Spend” project, which is projected to enable several billion $ growth to top-line revenue.* Lead 15-person FXM team responsible minimizing fulfillment exceptions.* Architected and led replacement of “FEW” legacy system (Dynamo, SQS/SNS, S3, EC2) with real-time, interactive micro-service solution: Elasticache (Redis), REST, SQS/SNS, S3, Netty, ECS (containers), with back pressure, NIO, circuit breakers, streaming, autoscaling, and many more features.* The new FEW design saved ~$2M in the first year alone, and enabled new use cases (e.g. DNTRBD) to save approximately $16M per year.* Helped design “Multi-ASIN Pallet” architecture, adding new delivery capability for Amazon business customers.* Introduced and mentored team on many technologies (e.g. Redis, REST, NIO, CompletableFutures, containers, service tuning, advanced Java topics).* Directly mentored 5 engineers to help with their career growth.* Actively recruited and interviewed for our team and other Amazon teams.* Provided Technical Assessment for promoting multiple Senior Engineers.* Led design / implementation of “FXM Console” web-based admin tool (JSF).* Active member of the FO Samurai group, led first “workshop” for FO organization.
