Professional Engineering is more than the sum of its parts; at it is my ability to stand back and see the big picture that has allowed me to excel within CIMIC for the last 20 years. Engineering at its heart requires understanding and manipulation of systems; I have made an art of distilling complex interrelated challenges down to manageable parts, and reassembling them in a way that creates real value for Thiess.I believe strongly in collaboration, and understand how effective teams are more than the sum of their parts. I have a passion for Innovation which has been prevalent since my very first job with Thiess. The consumerisation of IT coupled with the convergence of mobility, Software as a Service (SaaS) and BIM present enormous opportunity for constructors to more accurately measure, and by extension improve the productivity and revenue of our projects.
