About Kenny Casals

I am currently pursuing my M.S. in Cardiovascular Perfusion at SUNY Upstate Medical University, where I am developing the technical expertise and clinical proficiency required for extracorporeal circulation and advanced perfusion techniques. As Class Vice President and a Student Representative on the Faculty Affairs Committee, I actively advocate for student interests, enhance faculty-student collaboration, and contribute to professional development initiatives. Additionally, my involvement in the AmSECT Student Council Newsletter Committee allows me to engage with the broader perfusion community, sharing insights and fostering student connections nationwide. I am excited to continue expanding my knowledge and refining my skills throughout my training, and I look forward to exploring opportunities in clinical practice, education, and leadership after graduation to make a meaningful impact in the field of perfusion.
