U.S. Fleet Forces Command / N43• Perform turnover inspections and Material Condition Assessment Processes (MCAP) for large and small berthing/messing barges while supporting triennial Board of Inspection & Survey (INSURV) assessments for 36 barges along the East Coast.• Manage Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and Digital Trouble Log (DTL) for messing and berthing barges as well as maintaining the Current Ship\'s Maintenance Project (CSMP).• Conduct biweekly material inspections of all US Fleet Forces barges, log and monitor discrepancies while tracking their resolution, audit weekly, monthly, annual, and semi-annual checklists.• Develop, manage, monitor, and report on barge maintenance and modernization efforts and contribute to program process improvement initiatives as assigned.• Conducts daily barge walkthroughs at various maintenance availability locations throughout the Hampton Roads Virginia area ensuring that mandatory certifications are maintained.
