ABOUT KENNY MANN
With almost 35 years of years in the Commercial Transportation Industry, I have acquired knowledge in maintaining Fleets, Logistics Coordination, Distribution, Compliance & Regulations, Dispatching, Health & Safety, and Transformational Leadership. In addition, I am a Class 1 Driver, so I can relate to the everyday driver, and can be focused on finding solutions rather than being stagnant. I’ve learned that no matter what business anyone is in, we are in the people business, and if you treat others with respect and provide clear guidance, then achieving targets should be a breeze. My philosophy in training and mentoring has always been, “Train them to be smarter than you, then you look like a genius.” With boots hitting the ground, I started my career in the courier business driving a Volkswagen Fox and eventually working my way up to becoming a Class 1 Driver. For twenty of those years, I drove trucks across Canada and the United States, hauling various commodities on several types of trailers, i.e, Flatbed, Dry Van, Reefer, Tanker, Curtain side, Low Boy, Step deck, School Bus, Tour Bus and others. Even though I’ve been in the Transportation Industry for so long, I still get excited about training that new hire, or jumping behind the wheel to drop a load off. I am committed to the cause, and understand what it takes to get the job done.
