Plan, implement, and supervise the Broward County Special Olympics Young Athletes Program, specializing in special needs athletes ages 2 to 7 years of age.* Supervise specific recreational and athletic programs and services in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Special Olympics.* Participate with the recreational planning and evaluations thru county management meetings.* Enforce the rules and regulations of the Special Olympics with the public and athletes.* Maintain accurate records pertaining to inventory, program evaluations, and attendance.* Evaluate equipment and material needs for assigned recreational programs and coordinate the recruitment and procurement of materials as needed and approved.* Schedule, check, and evaluate weather conditions and make changes as needed including rescheduling events or practices based off od hazardous conditions.
