I am an accomplished finance and operations leader with a track record of success. I am currently serving as VP Finance at Ambrosia Biosciences Inc, a drug discovery company developing orally delivered, small molecule-based therapies for obesity and other metabolic disorders.Prior, I served as the VP Finance/CFO at LightDeck Diagnostics, a dynamic life sciences company that was acquired by Heska Corp, in January 2023. LightDeck was part of our nation\'s Project Warp Speed to combat the Pandemic, where we were asked to develop rapid COVID-19 diagnostic testing solutions. Prior to LightDeck, I enjoyed many years as CFO of venture capital backed B2B SaaS technology companies.As a member of a company\'s senior management team, I have consistently led the charge in overseeing accounting, finance, human resources, and investor relations. I work collaboratively throughout an organization, including with external audit and tax firms, legal counsel, insurance providers, real estate experts, and investment bankers.My extensive experience in finance encompasses numerous investor debt and equity rounds, a successful IPO, and the facilitation of nine M&A transactions (seven on the sell side and two on the buy side). I am skilled in navigating the complexities of financial planning and decision-making, and I take pride in my ability to project and manage cash effectively. I have led companies through phases of both growth and restructuring, demonstrating my adaptability and commitment to achieving organizational goals.
