WORK HISTORY
Executive Director @Snohomish County, WA
Serving to represent the organizational mission and goals, I direct daily operations, allocating resources, delegating responsibilities, and developing and implementing policies and procedures. Implementing key performance indicators, I uphold productivity expectations, inspiring employees to perform at top level by building a positive work environment. I gather and analyze data and metrics, developing strategic insights and evaluating overall performance to ensure we remain on-task for achieving organizational goals. Executing and managing County documents, I oversee contracts and instruments, issuing directives, and preparing reports. My role includes liaising with external stakeholders, representing the Executive at public hearings and community events, reinforcing the Executive\'s policies, goals, programs, and actions. I also build sustainable relationships with community leaders to achieve mutual goals, fostering collaboration with elected officials, departmental heads, associations, subordinates, and the public. Additionally, I uphold County interests, mitigating risks by proactively assessing economical, political, and social impacts of administrative policies and actions. Top Accomplishments:* I led the $74M Courthouse Construction project end-to-end advocating for approval, developing plans, and managing implementation while overcoming political, logistical, and budgetary obstacles.* Proactively updating the ERP system, I saved $31.4M in future expenses.* Championing positive change, I directed the first continuous improvement team assigned to eliminate waste, maximize employee productivity and joy while increasing efficiency and minimizing costs, resulting in 68,640 hours and $3.3M saved annually.* I spearheaded the county\'s re-opening response to the COVID-19 pandemic, provided budgetary and operational planning and oversight to efficiently allocate $143M in direct funding from the federal government towards county needs.
