I’m an achievement-oriented professional with progressive and varied law enforcement and security operations experience including 10+ years in leadership. I am a value-centric, inclusive leader with a proven track record of managing cross-functional law-enforcement programs, investigations, multi-tiered teams, event security, complex response plans for emergency incidents and providing strategic leadership in security operations management including logistics, resource allocation, risk assessment and security. Currently, I serve as Captain with the New York State Police’s Forensic Investigation Center where I lead multi-tiered teams in Bioscience (DNA, Serology, Databank), Firearms, and Trace Areas overseeing 125 employees. My background includes working with NYSP leading teams in multiple areas of responsibility including Bureau of Criminal Investigations, Counterterrorism Intelligence Analysts, Counterterrorism Investigators, Forensic Scientists, Computer Crimes Investigators, Undercover Narcotics Operations, and Uniformed Law Enforcement. In addition to my experience, I am currently pursuing a Master of Science (MS) in Public Safety from the University of Virginia. I also earned a Graduate Certificate in Criminal Justice Education from the University of Virginia while attending the FBI National Academy in Quantico, VA.
