About Ken Serviss
I take great pride in my experience and ability to successfully collaborate with labor unions to develop and manage effective, strategic Employees Assistance Programs.I remain diligent, dedicated and passionate to serving the members of the building and construction trade unions and their families by providing realistic solutions to everyday problems.I have been the Executive Director of the Allied Trades Assistance Program (ATAP) since April 2006. I am a Certified Employee Assistance Professional, a Certified Addictions Professional and a Qualified Substance Abuse Professional. I have held an internal labor position in the Employees Assistance field since 1996.Upon graduating in 1983 from Northeast High School, I joined the Glaziers Local #252 and completed an apprenticeship program in 1987. I remain an active dues paying Gold member. In 1993, I attended Penn State University where I studied Alcohol and Chemical Dependency, while continuing my job as a skilled craftsman. I am currently pursuing an Entrepreneurial Certification at Wharton and a Social Media Marketing Certificate at Northwestern.
