ABOUT KENNETH ONUGWU

Hi there! I am very passionate about using Information Technology to solve the ever growing modern-day challenges. As a fellow at Springboard, an online learning platform that offers 500+ hours of hands-on curriculum, mentorship from industry experts, and career coaching. My core competencies include data analysis, data visualization, hypothesis testing, and machine learning, using Python and SQL as my main tools. As a data analyst fellow, I have completed two in-depth capstone projects that demonstrate my ability to apply data analytics skills to real-world problems. One of them involved analyzing the impact of COVID-19 on the US economy and creating interactive dashboards to visualize the trends and insights. The other one involved building a predictive model to identify potential coustomers for a bank using supervised learning techniques. In addition, I have earned multiple certifications from Google and IBM that validate my knowledge and skills in cybersecurity, data fundamentals, and big data foundations. Currently, I am taking a bootcamp course with ACI Learning Tech Academy and working toward getting certified in ITIL, Comptia A+, Comptia Network+, Security+. Through my education and experience, I have developed a passion for data-driven decision making and a curiosity for finding patterns and insights from complex and diverse data sets. I am eager to join an organization that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, and where I can contribute to its mission and goals with my data analysis & cybersecurity skills and chemistry background. At my leisure time, I like to watch the \'real\' football, supporting my team Arsenal.
