Primary instructor in the Business/Marketing Program of Study that instructs over 400 students across seven courses, including accounting, finance, management, and marketing. Served as the Activities Director and Leadership Advisor overseeing nearly 100 clubs and a class of 40 students who planned and executed student activities including assemblies, dances, and philanthropy. Evolved the entry process to be more equitable resulting in more diverse student leadership. Served as a member of the Racial Equity Leadership Team for school faculty and staff. Lead racial equity trainings and professional develop to effect building-wide change. As a member of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) department, math department, racial equity and instructional leadership teams, made many contributions that influenced building-wide decisions resulting in improved school-wide culture and equitable instructional practices. Served as co-advisor for the DECA student organization. Helped advise and mentor students competing in business related events at the regional, state, and national level.
