After three decades engineering solutions that saved millions for Fortune 500 companies like Procter & Gamble, Abbott, and Eli Lilly, I\'ve transitioned into my second career: full-time service in faith-based nonprofit leadership.I retired from Jedson Engineering in 2023, but retirement isn\'t about slowing down—it\'s redirecting five decades of volunteer experience into deeper, focused impact. Today, I serve as Secretary and Trustee for both Whitewater Bible Camp and Northern Hills Bible Chapel, and as a Deacon at Northern Hills.What I Bring to Nonprofit LeadershipMy engineering career taught me to solve complex problems systematically. I optimized processes in papermaking, food processing, and biopharmaceuticals, delivering efficiency gains and cost reductions. Now I apply that analytical rigor to nonprofit governance—measuring success in transformed lives, not balance sheets.Current ImpactAs Secretary for both organizations, I ensure governance excellence through strategic communications, meticulous record-keeping, and trustee meeting facilitation. At Northern Hills, I also serve as Facilities Manager and step in for other officers as needed.Ten years ago, I championed Northern Hills\' transition from printed directories to a real-time online platform—revolutionizing how our community stays connected. I continue leading the support team for this vital tool.As a Deacon, I lead teams supporting our church directory, announcements, building maintenance, and meeting operations—the infrastructure that enables spiritual community to flourish.At Whitewater Bible Camp, I help oversee programs that have impacted hundreds of young lives across southern Ohio. Through strategic leadership and a commitment to meaningful outcomes, I guide the implementation of initiatives that not only engage campers but also nurture their spiritual growth. Our programs are designed to create an atmosphere in the great outdoors that allows youth to build relationships and seek God.
