Manage a team of PSE & G engineers and contractors responsible for the civil project engineering and design performance of multiple electric delivery substation projects and large scale programs, from inception through project completion and final acceptance. Successfully work with project management teams and outside engineering design consultants to ensure that engineering and design objectives are achieved within approved scopes, budgets, schedules and PSE & G standards. Manage the project engineering, design plans and schedules to adhere to department balanced scorecards targets. Conduct project reviews, work with stakeholders to resolve issues and confirm that plans were professionally and comprehensively prepared. Supervise civil project engineers and designers in the performance of assigned projects and job duties, including scope development, project estimating, engineering, design and constructability reviews. Provide guidance and mentoring of junior engineers and summer interns in the performance of their work. Work closely with the RMC Group to track, catalog, scan and properly store all design drawings and expedite the drawing review and approval process.
