About Kenneth Revett
I am a data scientist and a computational neuroscientist with over 20 years of experience in designing and developing applications that utilize affective inputs, such as emotions and pupillometry, for various domains, such as neuropsychology, HCI, BCI, robotics, recommender systems, and biometrics. I have a PhD in Neural and Cognitive Science from the University of Maryland College Park, and I have published over 170 scientific papers and three books on topics ranging from data classification techniques to neuropsychological applications for sentiment analysis, locked-in subjects, and user-specific biometric identification.Currently, I am an adjunct professor at Champlain College, where I teach a variety of courses on data science to undergraduate students. I am also a bioinformatician at IQVIA, where I perform data quality assurance on a large-scale COVID-19 vaccination data model. I use machine learning strategies and Khan-type DQA processes to analyze and validate the data from the FDA. I have experience working within the OMOP framework, and am on several WGs focusing on including medical imaging, SDoH, NLP, Vocabulary extensions, and the CDM. My mission is to apply my expertise in AI and biometrics to create innovative and impactful solutions for real-world problems in health, security, and education.

Senior Consultant Data Scientist

My role is to perform DQA on a 5.3.1 OMOP CDM model which contains national COVID19 vaccination data (data from the FDA). I perform Khan type DQA processes - and am developing some machine learning strategies for processing a fairly large DQD dataset (3508 QDA checks of 20+ tables). I also have developed synthetic datasets that contain realistic medical data for a variety of medical and mental health related disorders, that can be used for unit testing, as well as cohort definitions for a variety of CDC approved clinical studies. Much of this work in based on language models and is deep learning (TF2.x) based. I also developed dashboards using Shiny and Tableau for essential BI functionality. I am also working on a project that integrates medical imaging data - primarily structural MRI imaging data into an OMOP CDM(5.4)- utilizing the latest OHDSI tooling.
