ABOUT KENNETH PERRY

I am currently working for ATSG specializing in supporting the Cisco Unified Communications Platform versions 4.x through 12.x, including technologies such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity/Unity Connection, Emergency Responder, Presence Server/IM & Presence, License Manager, as well as Cisco Unified SIP Proxy (Module & Virtualized), VMWare ESXi (5.x - 7.x), VMWare vCenter (Virtual Appliance & Windows based) Cisco UCS-C/B/M including Nexus 7K/9K FEX/Fabric Interconnect, Cisco CUBE/VG (IOS/IOS-XE // PRI, BRI, SIP, FXS/FXO), Cisco Analog Gateways, All Cisco Phones/Endpoints from IP Communicator and Jabber to Cisco IP Phones (all series, wired and wireless) to Telepresence Units up to desk units. I function as a Level 3 Senior UC Engineer performing troubleshooting for customer break/fix priority issues, planning for various proposed changes and guidance on Scope and Level of Effort. I also provide low- and high-level overviews of technical work and documentation to concerned stakeholders, and can break down technical detail to layman\'s terms to effectively communicate with end user, management, and technical staff alike. In addition I am also responsible for creating and reviewing documentation (Method of Procedure) to ensure success on each change control. As a Senior Engineer I also provide assistance to the team however it can be provided, from a second set of eyes to a second set of hands, to provide a new perspective or give room to talk through an issue out loud. What I enjoy more than a challenging issue to work on is a well documented environment to be working in.
