   Responsible for completing standard, closing, and intercompany journal entries to balance accounts and reflect cash received on a regular basis. • Assist with the inter-period & month-end close process by conducting research and proposing necessary journal entries. • Primary point person for all Accounts Payable activity from entering vendor invoices into NetSuite to coordinating payment for all open bills. • Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as financial statements, management reporting, and other ad hoc reporting requests. • Daily maintenance and analysis of bank activity and preparing of related journal entries. • Prepare monthly account analysis and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts. • Created weekly, monthly, and quarterly spend detail reports presented to Finance team illustrating cost and revenue numbers. • Responsible for the completion of the 2017 and 2018 T&E company-wide audit identifying expense report errors and how to avoid them in the future. • Primary contact for journal entry audit with both Grant Thornton and Baker Tilly auditors. • Ensure workpapers and supporting documentation for journal entries and reconciliations are accurate and in line with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. • Lead Pepperjam trainer for all finance team on-boarding and NetSuite training.
